I am new to blogging, but I am seriously going to make an effort this year. I love sharing/bragging about my wonderful family. I came up with the title of my Blog, "My Favorite Things," because of course my children, my husband, and my furry kids are my favorite things, but I am finding new things everyday that I like (books, baking, music, and more). I want to share anything and everything, so I hope someone enjoys my favorite things as much as I do.

November 2012

November

November already! We are so blessed and have more to be thankful for then I can possibly put into this blog. Tons of new things are happening in our family.
Jason works hard and has some active duty time coming up. He never stops going and working. We miss him a lot of times, but we love his hard work and dedication.
Zekie is in preschool at the local Montessori. He is doing so great. Learning and growing more and more everyday. I love and hate it all at the same time. It's interesting. He is so smart and friendly. He loves his teachers and his new friends.
Brody is also growing a lot. He is quite the smarty-pants. He spends most of his time with books, still. He says, "every book is an adventure." It's so fun to read with him and hear him "read" to me. Such a kick in the pants.
Lil' is our princess and she knows it. She is dainty and yet so tom-boy it's hilarious. She doesn't like dolls or barbies yet, but she really loves cars, action dudes, and anything brothers are into. I love watching her dance and sing most of all.
I have no free time, so there is not much to say about me. I spend most of my time cleaning, playing games with the kids, reading with the kids, and anything I can with the kids. At night while I wait up for Jason, I either clean or read. Boring but a lot of you can relate, I bet.
Right now, this is our life, and this is our family.

Summertime

 Summer 2012

We had a wonderful summer. We spent a lot of time in Portland, OR.

Where we went to family day at the base, looking at planes and weapons.

My best friend Kristen drove up to Portland again, too. She took family photos for us, and she dyed my hair! :D

We also went camping for our first time as a family! It was so great! We went to the beach, on a riverside walk, and enjoyed beautiful weather and each other's company.

We also spent some great time around our area going to beaches,
parks, the fair, and playing with friends and neighbors.

We had some set backs with Lily's health and my back, but we made the best of it.

I am so blessed to have such beautiful kids and such a hardworking husband. School starts in a week!
Zekie is going to preschool, and we are possibly moving closer to Jason's job. Many more big and exciting changes... Stay tuned.

February & March 2012

These last two month have been great. BUSY!!! But GREAT!!! We are so blessed and happy. Life can be hard, but we are so happy to have each other, the gospel, our family and friends, and so many other wonderful blessings.
Jason is in training for Boeing. He is LOVING it! This is such a perfect job for him. I am so excited for him.  He also has a lot more time with us, and of course we love that! :D
Zekie is now registered for preschool for the 2012-13 school year at an awesome school. We went and met his teachers, Mrs. Harvel and Mrs. Dean. He also has a friend that he knows that will be in the same class. We are all super excited and talk about it everyday, even though he doesn't start until September, hahahaha!

Brody is enormous! He is always being mistaken for the older brother. He is so funny and so smart. This last month he has become more and more interested in letters. He loves pointing out "his letter" (B) every time he sees one. Super funny guy!

Lily is keeping us dazed and on our toes. She is a twerp, but she is perfect! We all dote on her, our lil' sister.  She is very busy and loves everything big brothers do. She is not quite walking, but she will be any day.
I got spoiled in February. For my birthday, Jason bought be a bulldog puppy! I have wanted one for years. She is such a sweet, little darling.
Also, in February we all went to Portland for a semi-vacation. Jason was on AFNG duty, but we had so much fun. We went to the pool every night! I got to see a dear friend of mine and go to another I the Mighty show. We all had a lot of fun!
Our big event for March was Jason got his first calling in church! Woohoo! He was called as Pioneer Specialist for Pioneer Day! I think this is a perfect opportunity for him to learn some history of the church. It's very exciting.
We love our family! We love learning, exploring, and growing together. We are so thankful to have a home, an income, our health and all of you.
